I have been back in Sydney for 4 days now, seating at my desk at work and I can hardly believe that 12 months ago I started this long preparation for our special day.
From my very first point of contact with Rohan, Beyond Events clearly set itself apart from the rest of the other wedding planners in Bali. Always very reactive, proactive when required, accurate, realistic but flexible and extremely professional. The last 12 months have been busy but I was convinced throughout the preparation that we had picked the right partners and Simon and I would like to thank you for that.
We are overall extremely happy about our wedding day in Bali and you have made our special day even more special. Once again Simon and I would like to thank you very very much for your great work and personality. I am sure it is not always easy to deal with brides to be and I hope I did not make it too hard for you!
Who knows we might come back and celebrate for a special anniversary in the future! We would certainly love to work again with you. Please do not hesitate to send people to us if they require any clarification, reinsurance, we will be happy to give you a good referral.

We would just like to say thank you so much for organising our amazing wedding. We are very sad it is all over!
From the first day when we met Rohan while holidaying in Bali we knew that we definitely wanted to carry on with planning our dream wedding we had always thought about in Bali and we are so glad we did!
From the six months prior when we decided right through to the end of the wedding day everything went smoothly. Meghan had every step covered all the way and we always felt like every question or concern that we came up with was just an email away, which was always answered so quickly and in so much detail. It was also great to have someone to bounce ideas and questions off especially since we were getting married in a different country.
Sometimes it didn’t even feel like I was organising a wedding as Meghan always had everything under control. I questioned myself many times why I felt so relaxed and was not running around like other crazy brides I have seen. Right down to the morning of the wedding which we got to spend just relaxing with our family and friends while everything was taken care of.
Our small group of 20 close family and friends from all parts of the world met us in Bali to celebrate with us. They were all taken back in the attention to detail on the day and had never experienced anything like it. They couldn’t believe that everything had been thought of right down to Meghan bringing last minute wooden fans for guests to use in the ceremony. Everyone is still talking about the day!
If you have always wanted to get married in Bali and have some doubts there is no need to. Go through with what will be the best wedding experience. You will not regret it!

Dear Natalie, Rohan, Marie and the Team,
We want to thank you so much for organising a perfect Wedding for us.
It was around December last year that we decided to have our Wedding in Bali, after making the decision, we thought ‘how do we go about this’? We had been frequent travellers to Bali so knew the island fairly well, but it’s still a big ask to work out how exactly this was going to work. Initially, I started investigating via the internet wedding venues etc., we decided we would like our wedding in a private villa and not in a hotel as the atmosphere would be more intimate in a villa. We tried contacting several wedding planners, most never got back to us, or if they did their response time was very, very delayed, which led us to feel very nervous about any arrangements they would make for us. One day I stumbled upon Beyond Events, so I thought I’d give them a try!! Within a day Rohan had responded and was on the job from the word go. We chose a villa after he had sent many through to us, in February we made the trip to Bali to meet with Rohan and look at the villa. In some ways the trip was unnecessary, the villa was exactly as we had seen on the internet and Rohan was fantastic and led us through everything we needed to know. The villa was booked, and all arrangements from Beyond Events were falling into place. I was then contacted by Natalie, who took control of our wedding details, everything was planned perfectly, we did not feel nervous again about any of the arrangements.
We arrived again in Bali, 6 days before our wedding, Natalie took us to the Consulate and got all of the legal requirements done, she met with us to discuss catering and all the arrangements, she even organised booking a dinner for our guests prior to the wedding and also spray tans for the bride, bridesmaid and a number of the guests, nothing was too much trouble!! The big day arrived, we were so relaxed we swam most of the morning in the pool @ the villa with our family. Everything went like clockwork, the wedding was just as we had imagined, it was perfect. The photographer, videographer, make up artists are top class. We received our wedding album from Rudi Lin 5 days after our wedding and we couldn’t be happier with it, also Point One Designs did the video and it is amazing. The food at the wedding was fantastic and all the staff who worked there looked after us and and guests amazingly.
We cannot speak highly enough about the professionalism, courtesy, reliability and service we received from Beyond Events, in fact, I call them Above and Beyond Events as they go above and beyond with the service they provide to their clients. The biggest compliment I want to give them is that if my daughter wants to get married in Bali, I will be straight back onto Rohan and Natalie to get the ball rolling.

We just wanted to say a huge thank you to Rohan, Natalie, Megan and the team at Beyond Events. We had our wedding at Villa Kalyani in July and everything was perfect. We were a bit anxious at times as we had never been to Bali before but Rohan was always happy to help and made himself available for phone calls at short notice.
The venue was amazing, the food was beautiful and the whole event ran smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble for Natalie and Meghan who even organised a dance floor for us at the very last minute. We would happily recommend Beyond Events in the future. Our Bali wedding is something that we and the rest of our guests will remember fondly forever.

I wanted to thank you and Beyond Events for planning an amazing wedding for Jamaal and I. Having a wedding in Bali and planning it from Australia seemed daunting from the outset but you and your team did everything possible to calm my nerves and make the whole experience enjoyable. Every, and all of my requests never seem like too much trouble. Your organisational skills and attention to detail was unsurpassed. I was so very impressed with everything from flowers, candles, food, alcohol, hair, makeup and band. In addition to this all of the email requests were answered within 12 hours (most of the time within a couple of hours!). This meant a lot to me and enabled me to have complete faith in your company.

We would like to say a huge thank you for making our big day so perfect. Right from the beginning in August 2010 when we contacted you about providing options for a beach villa wedding in Bali you were so wonderful to deal with. Giving us numerous options to choose from, we thought it prudent to make a trip to Bali to get a feel for the perfect location. Before we left Perth you sent us a schedule of organised meetings which helped us plan our trip. Once in Bali you took us to see the villas we had on our short-list followed by meetings with the photographer and celebrant. We got to sample food and cocktail options and then you directed us to see potential band and DJ options live where they were playing. We left Bali so impressed with Beyond Events and the villas we had seen we booked our wedding date immediately on returning home.
It was really daunting planning an overseas wedding at first, but you put us at ease by returning our emails without delay answering all of our questions and providing suggestions and ideas when required, nothing was too hard or difficult for you to organise or source for us. When it came time to organise our guests accommodation, you were more than happy to help with suggestions and reservations based on our preferences of location and cost. In the week leading up to the wedding you organised all of our meetings and documents, took us to the embassy and basically made us feel like we didn’t have to worry about a thing which meant we had plenty of time to relax with our guests and enjoy our holiday.
On the day, everything ran smoothly, the setup at the villa had taken place throughout the day and everyone arrived on time, the hair and makeup team only took a few hours to do all 5 girls in the comfort of our master suite at the villa, and they did a fantastic job. Our 80+ guests were bussed up to Canggu from Legian/Seminyak and were blown away on arrival by the unbelievable setting- it was breathtaking. The ceremony was just stunning overlooking the beach on the villa lawn with a lovely sea breeze keeping things cool. After the ceremony we had a cocktail reception by the pool surrounded by lanterns and fairy lights which looked magical. Amazing food and cocktails flowed all night- I highly recommend the lychee martinis and strawberry daiquiris, they were amazing! We had a great DJ who kept the party going and the dance floor full, the hardest part of the night was telling people it was time to go home.
The morning after the wedding we woke up to a completely cleared site, they had worked all night to pack away everything that had been there for the wedding- it was amazing! A few weeks after getting home our photos arrived, a beautiful album and a disc with 700 photos on it all wrapped up in a leather case- it was perfect. We honestly couldn’t recommend getting married in Bali and more importantly having Beyond Events organise your wedding highly enough, it was more perfect than we could have imagined and our guests were just as impressed- it was truly one to remember.
So thank you again for giving us the perfect wedding!
